“We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.” — Kurt Vonnegut
I can’t afford your base prices, but I could use the help. What can I do?
Contact me with your budget and what you’re looking for. I’ll see what I can do. My prices reflect a living wage for me that allows me to pay down my debts and save up for a place of my own, and I understand that for folks just starting out or operating out of a small town (as a small business), that can be a bit out of reach.
If you’re reasonable, I’m willing to wrangle something special for you.
What happens after I contact you for a project?
Once I’ve been contacted about a project, I’ll gather as much information from you as I can so I can create a proposal and draft up a quote. If you like the proposal and quote, then I’ll have you sign a contract.
Once the contract has been signed, I’ll get to work! You’ll receive your first draft for revisions within 7 days. After changes are made and the document is ready, you’ll receive your invoice. Upon payment of your invoice, your document will be released to you in a Google Doc. At that point, what you do with it is up to you!
If you want me to schedule your post for you, then that’s what will happen instead of you receiving a link.
Website copy requires a deposit of 15% of the quoted price to secure your place in line. The rest is due on completion of the project.
Do you ghostwrite?
Yes, I do. Ghostwriting has a 30% fee on top of the base pricing because I’m giving up my chance at a byline, and bylines are worth money to me (they tell people who wrote the piece and drive clients my way).
What’s included in your fees?
- Research time
- SEO keywords & SEO-friendly formatting
- Internal links to your existing content (if applicable)
- Up to 3 revisions
- CMS publishing (if applicable).
I use WordPress all the time. If your website uses it, I can schedule your articles for you so that you don’t have to think about posting anything. Time savings! Yes!
I like your work. How else can I support you?
Join my Patreon, especially if you’re a Star Trek fan. I write a lot of fanfiction, apparently.
